Camino ENT is committed to your health and safety as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread. We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites and taking all necessary precautions.
In response to an order put in place by Santa Clara County on Tuesday, March 17th at 12:01 AM to limit non-essential healthcare services and operate at a reduced capacity. The overall health of our patients and staff is our number one priority. We will continue to provide medical and audiology services during this difficult time, with some changes and additional precautions. We have consolidated our offices and will only be seeing patients at our San Jose location on Hellyer Avenue. We ask that you call our office to schedule an appointment to see one of our physicians should you require urgent medical care related to your ears, nose, throat, hearing and/or voice. When making your appointment, we will share visitation protocols at that time. We are not accepting walk-in patients.
Our audiologists will be providing only essential services twice per week and are available to answer questions via email. If your hearing device is not working, some manufacturers are offering direct shipping for repairs. We will also be offering drive-by, drop-off services for our hearing device patients at our San Jose location on Hellyer Avenue. Call our office or email your audiologist for additional information.
The current situation is very fluid and continues to change. Patients are encouraged to check the following resources for up-to-date information on COVID-19, including how to best keep yourself safe and what you should do if you suspect that either you or a family member may have fallen ill with this virus.
Please note, we CANNOT perform on-site testing for coronavirus at any of our offices. Please contact your primary care physician, Urgent Care, local health department or your local emergency room if you:
- Have a fever, cough or cold/flu like symptoms, or symptoms of lower respiratory illness (e.g., cough or shortness of breath)
- Have been exposed to someone that has been diagnosed with coronavirus or someone who has had contact with anyone under quarantine for the virus
- Have recently traveled or been exposed to anyone returning from outside of the United States
At Camino ENT, we appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this difficult time. Recommendations are changing daily and we will provide an update on April 7 once additional information is released.
